Features For Children
1. Three full screen menu pages of Picture illustrated selectable Functions(20 functions each page) for this paint program.. These functions were designed using sophisticated Visual Basic techniques with a goal of simplifying the drawing and painting process as much as possible. For example, many of the items usually included in a landscape scene can be drawn with one stroke of the mouse such as: a multicolored flower; a tree or bush with leaves or flowers; clouds, snow and many other items. After choosing any colors and any size from 1 to 600 pixels, these items are created by repeated mouse strokes, not by pasting pre-existing pictures or stamps. For very young children, default colors and sizes can be used or an option that paints everything in rapidly-changing, randomly-produced colors. If desired, the Menu I File accessing functions can be locked out.
2. For Older Children, a PLAYING MENU (More Kid's Stuff)includes a variety of fun features and specialized drawing functions as shown in the menu below.
These
include:
A.
Several creatures which can be moved around the canvas with
the mouse, eating portions of images as they travel. A
racetrack function can also be called where some of these
creatures will race from start to finish using totally random
distance and speed movements. See racetrack sample below.
B. A fully sizable and colorful Kaleidoscope that can range
from very small to full screen size. Children can also draw
with this function (as with most others) as if it were a unique
brush. This is just one of several unique children's features.
C. Several drawing pens and brushes produce fun and colorful effects rather than just lines of color.
D. Many other functions fill the screen with interesting
and colorful patterns and will keep both children and adults
intrigued for hours.
E. Children who can read and select menu items can draw a complete landscape scene with just a few strokes of the mouse by uncovering selectable and named photographed features such as sky, mountains, grass, water, sand etc. at any desired location on the screen. NOTE: they can also access portions of their own photographs to be included in the painting. Also, special features such as a boat, a person, etc. can be free form copied, re-sized and pasted in the screen.
